This album marks their return to the music that they should stretcher as the Keeper albums. The album was released almost a year later in the USA with a bonus that contains all the B-side, the Master of the Rings. Once they feel they have been returned to the track, they recorded the album The Time Of The Oath in 1996, and surprisingly this album to be their best album since the glory days Keeper albums. The producer seems to really want a new style Helloween with a more nu-metal and Roland could follow because Roland digital loved the production, as well as with Uli. But not with the Weiki not involved in the cultivation of this album. Weiki do not want this album as Helloween albums. Halloween 1990-1993 (will be continued)
EMI company was interested and signed them because Helloween have a problem with the label, Noise Records. Helloween decided to contract with Noise and joined EMI. And they lost in court and must pay compensation to the noise and prohibited release the album outside of Europe and Japan. Because of the complicated financial issues, they do not produce albums for up to 2 years.
Some were released live album (Live in the UK in Europe, Keepers Live in Japan and I Want Out: Live in USA) released to impress the fans during the hiatus. And they also got help from Management Sanctuary (Iron Maiden, WASP) to survive.
Little by little they began to believe, up from a long break, they release the album with an unusual title Pink Bubbles Go Ape in 1991. But this album shows even less identity Helloween, many get criticism from fans and the media, writing songs that do not focus. Even worse, rumors circulated that the cultivation of this album filled with internal conflicts between personnel. Albums full of uncertainty was followed by sales that do not like what they expected. In 1993, they release the album is worse, Chameleon, and rumors that exacerbate tensions between personnel began to soar. This is starting to look at that period, Ingo experiencing stress, drugs and alcohol and the disease is diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Ingo was replaced by Richie Abdel Nabi during the tour.
Ingo suffered from Schizophrenia since birth. This is only known at the time he was undergoing rehabilitation drugs like cocaine and alcohol dopping very adverse to the functioning of the brain and cause difficulty in speaking. Basically, alcohol can delay the effects of Schizophrenia for a while, but will still appear at any moment if someone has 30 years of age. A disease that is difficult to cure. This is a special burden for Ingo and finally Weiki must make a decision to ask Ingo no longer play for Helloween. They talked for 5 to 6 hours, Ingo was rejected and want to keep playing for Helloween. Ingo does not understand the condition he was and did not undergo treatment well. And one day, he killed himself by jumping into the subway train that was passing.
At that time, both EMI and Sanctuary decided to stop their losses and let Helloween to determine their own fate. Helloween was signed a contract with Castle Communications.
