Helloween 2001-2004 (will be continued)

Helloween Weiki want to return to the track with the new lineup. During this process, Helloween guitarist Sascha Gerstner pulled from Freedon Call the 25-year-old. Helloween 1994-2000 (will be continued)

They also release the live album High Live! in 1996 and indicates that Helloween has returned to the arena of international power metal with his success back in Europe and Japan. Same Ditahun, Kiske also release the solo album Instant Clarity.

In 1997, Roland release the solo debut titled The Four Seasons of Life which includes the single “I Remember” and displays Ralf Scheepers on one track. Andi also release the solo debut entitled Come In From The Rain with singles “1000 Years Away” and “Goodbye Jenny”. A year later they release the The Pumpkin Box that contains the best songs from their 1985-1993 year and includes 4 discs with interviews. In March 1998 they release the album Better Than Raw. In 1999, Roland release the album Kaleidoscope of some success in Europe and Brazil. Mark also release the Shockmachine titled side project featuring Uli on the drums. Uli is also a producer and release the album Catch The Rainbow, a tribute to the band’s album Rainbow with German musicians. Release the second album Kiske Readiness To Sacrifice. Helloween then release the band’s album cover, which has provided inspiration for the album Metal Jukebox. Andi was closed this year with the release the second album Done by the Mirrors.

They started the year 2000 with work on their latest album with producer Roy Z. nu-metal background. Helloween party record management wanted the dark side of their metal music and the result is an album The Dark Ride is released on October 30, 2000. Weiki not like the direction music is taken. The producer seems to really want a new style Helloween with a more nu-metal and Roland could follow because Roland digital loved the production, as well as with Uli. But not with the Weiki not involved in the cultivation of this album. Weiki do not want this album as Helloween albums. Differences musical direction and track selection made by management are then led to tension in the band and followed by the dismissal of Roland and Uli.

Cases

The cases should protect it’s contain from any condition such as high pressure, fall down, and other condition that harmed the cello. The outer shell of cases has a strong shell ideally and the restrainer strap to protect the neck is also needed. The bow also should be protected inside the cases, there must be a special place to put the bow safely.

In a normal condition it’s suggested to lie the case down to avoid broken neck. During the travelling if possible put the cello on the passenger seat.

String Clearance

The clearance between the string and the fingerboard is relative, depends on the shape of the fingerboard, how do we play the cello, and what’s the play technique we use. Usually the more powerful the player the higher clearance is needed. The most important things is the cellist must feel comfortable on their finger when the play the cello. Usually the clearance between strings and the bottom of fingerboard is about 6mm for A string, 8.5mm for C string.

Pegs

It’s important that the pegs should be able to be turned easily when we want to calibrate the cello. Pegs and it’s hole should be lubricated well.

Nut

Nut is placed between the peg box and the fingerboard, it great shapes will produce a very smooth transition. The grooves of this nut for each string is different, generally the depth allows the strings to be inside the groove only 1/3. The height of the nut only provides a little clearance between the strings and the fingerboard. So, it’s important for you if you want to change a new string, you must check whether it fits the grooves at the bridge and the nut properly  or not.

Fingerboard

To produce a great and clear sound the fingerboard should be in great condition which is scooped along it and also the surface is smooth. In order to check the amount of scoop along the fingerboard, you can do a small test. Press the string in both side of the fingerboard then you can find how much gap is left between the string and the fingerboard in the middle of the fingerboard. The scoop should be shallowest under the A string and getting deeper on the C string, and the depth of the scoop should be the same as the thickness of the C string.
